(July & August only)

Friday - 9 am to 6 pm
Saturday - 9 am to 1 pm

NOVELNY is an online library of hundreds of magazines, newspapers, maps, charts, research and reference books that are available to every New Yorker, free of charge. All you need is your public library card, New York driver license -or- New York Non-Driver ID. Students may also access the NOVELny databases through their school or academic library.

Volunteers are always needed.

This website is managed by The Friends of the Town of Chester Public Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to supplement the budget of the Town of Chester Library. The Friends of the Library uses proceeds from fund raising events and membership fees to host educational events, provide programming for children, and to purchase books, periodicals and equipment for the library.
